The term HazMat (Hazardous Material) encompasses hazardous materials, as defined and classified by UN (Hazardous Material UN Categories).

Non-Hazardous waste management

Antipollution invests on advanced technologies in order to reduce the amount of waste led to landfills in respect to relevant guidelines by EU and the best practices and techniques available.

We promote and implement recycling and recovery of materials such as paper, plastic, wood, metal etc., via a separation process in our modern facilities. The residue is routed to a different process in order to produce a form of alternative fuel (RDF).

Hazardous waste management

More specifically, we can undertake sampling analyzing, classification, packaging, labeling/placarding and transportation of hazardous waste from the area where they are produced and/or temporary stored to authorized facilities in Greece.

Furthermore, Antipollution can undertake the whole procedure related to the trans-boundary movement of hazardous waste to authorized facilities in EU based on European Legislation (EC 1013/2006) and Basel Convention.

Greenery Services

Antipollution extended its activities further and entered the field of Green Area Management and more specifically the Architectural Design – Landscaping Configuration – Maintenance of urban – suburban green areas as well as forest management through Forest Technical Projects and reforested areas.

In order to be able to undertake these specialized projects, Antipollution is staffed by experienced technical personnel assuring the proper execution of each task and the optimal management of green areas, providing a wide range of tasks in port facilities, hotel facilities, forested areas, construction companies, business facilities and general greening works.

Destruction/Final Disposal of Off-specs/expired

Using the very latest technology equipment, our company is able to offer off-specification product destruction services. Our mobile equipment allows us to facilitate the destruction of products that fall out of specifications, inside or outside our facilities. Waste that is generated by this process is transported to the licensed final recipient.

Coastal Cleanup and Beach Configuration Services

Our personnel, consisting of Engineers, Environmentalists and Landscape Architects, will deal with each case separately, identifying all its special environmental and constructive parameters and resulting to an optimum solution.

Alternative Fuel Production (RDF)

Antipollution processes waste further with a clear orientation towards the reduction of the quantities ending up in landfills.The remaining residue following sorting of the recyclable materials and the separation of the organic fraction, is taken to a special processing line in order to produce alternative fuel (RDF), which is available to suitably authorized end recipients.

Animal by-products Management

Animal by-products (including catering waste), consist a very important fraction of waste produced by ships that our company has to manage on a regular basis. Animal by-products are divided into three categories depending on the level of the threat-danger they pose to human health and the environment.

Antipollution is fully licensed by (the) Greek Authorities and possesses all the necessary equipment (ATP-certified refrigerator trucks) in order to collect and transport animal by-products to authorized facilities for further treatment and disposal.

Disinfestation, decontamination and fumigation services

Our services are provided for all kinds of indoor and outdoor spaces. All chemicals used are approved by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food. All applications for disinfestation, decontamination, fumigation, vermin and insect disinfestations are harmless for humans and animals and are securely carried out by competent staff, led by a specialized scientific supervisor.
