The cleaning of the sea surface of various floating objects (e.g. wood, plastic and algae) is carried out by our company using special vessels constructed by our company. These modern catamaran-type vessels, are equipped with a special hydraulic mechanism for the collection of floating waste. Their draught is particularly shallow, so that they may perform work even in shallow waters, while they are especially easy to handle even sideways thanks to their maneuvering system.
Due to their special construction they can access even the most difficult areas (between boats, ships, shallow surfaces, etc.) and clean all types of waste from the sea surface
Oil Spill Response
Greece ratified in 1990 the International Convention on the prevention and response to marine pollution, undertaking the commitment to preserve and protect the marine environment, especially during actual or potential pollution incidents.
According to International Legislation, Greece has developed a National Marine Pollution Response Plan to address marine pollution incidents. Additionally, contingency plans are prepared by local coastal and port authorities and must be consistent with the National Plan.
